<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">Overnight it was released that global electronic sport giant Game Services filed for bankruptcy. Game services are famous for their powerhouse annual electronic sport event Electronic Sport World Cup or ESWC. The global tournament that was rated among gamers as the premier competitive tournament was unable to sustain itsself with another event due to drastic drop in sponsorship of its flagship event.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">Next month Korea will be hosting the ESWC Masters tournament which will be showcasing a range of the top teams across the globe, this includes fnatic, mTw, SK, Titans & Ausralias own Immunity. Game services have promised this event will go ahead as planned and will be the last show of the ESWC might. Though fears are arising around the Masters tournament that potential prize monies could be claimed by liquidators.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">That being said Game Services has been pioneers over the past 5 years, the organization put gamers first and refined most of the global standards and rule sets for electronic sport that are going to stand for a long time.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">Its going to be a tough year for profesional gamers across the globe, with this the 3rd major victim of the global economic state after Championship Gamers Seriese was canceled last year by DirectTV and last months loss of global powerhouse team, Meet Your Markers.</p>

really is unfortunate, won't have any direct impact on Australia's competetive community, but it'll definitely have repercussions for everyone as people bail on the industry. |
