<p>The World Cyber Games, considered around the world to be the video game olympics has just announced its launch of a decathlon style TV show, WCG Ultimate Gamer.<br /> <br />Grab a dozen gamers and make them compete in a range of games from fighting games to racing games, to shooting games to strategy games and watch them eat each other alive like a bad series of survivor. Sounds kinda sweet to me.<br /> <br />The only twist to the show, is that gamers are not only tested by their gaming ability. Gamers are tested in their real life ability relating to the game they are playing. Guitar hero skills are also tested out on real guitars, racing skills are also tested out while racing real cars and fighting skills are tested out hopefully while they beat each other into the ground.<br /> <br />The idea in general sounds great, though in my opinion reality tv should be reserved to only the trivial of topics, like weight loss and voting each other of an island. While the stigma around video gamers are only just starting to be separated from 'overweight anti social nerds' WCG Ultimate Gamer just make gamers look like six foot blond bimbos who just want to get their mug on tv.<br /> <br />Anyway ill end my rant, check it out for yourself at www.wcgultimategamer.com</p>
